Our Commitment
Clear Cornwall is committed to minimising the environmental impact of every clearance we carry out. We believe that responsible disposal is not optional — it is a fundamental part of the service we provide.
Reuse First
Before any item goes to landfill, we assess whether it can be reused. Furniture, appliances, clothing and other household items in good condition are donated to local charities, reuse centres and community organisations across Cornwall wherever possible.
Recycling
Items that cannot be reused are sorted and taken to licensed recycling facilities. We separate materials including metal, wood, cardboard, plastics and electricals to ensure the maximum amount is recycled rather than sent to landfill.
Responsible Disposal
All waste we collect is disposed of legally and responsibly. We hold a current Environment Agency waste carrier licence and never fly-tip or use unlicensed disposal sites.
Electricals and Hazardous Items
Electrical items (WEEE) are disposed of in accordance with current regulations. Hazardous materials are handled and disposed of in compliance with all relevant environmental legislation.
Our Goal
We aim to divert as much waste as possible away from landfill on every job. Cornwall's landscapes, coastlines and communities deserve our best effort — and that is what we give.
