Keeping Cornwall Clean

Last updated: March 2026

Our Pledge

Cornwall is one of the most beautiful places in the United Kingdom. Its coastlines, moorland, fishing villages and countryside attract millions of visitors every year — but they are also home to us. We were born here, we live here, and we are committed to keeping it clean.

The Problem of Fly-Tipping

Fly-tipping is a growing problem across Cornwall. Illegal dumping damages habitats, pollutes waterways, harms wildlife and spoils the landscapes that define our county. It is also a criminal offence carrying significant fines and prosecution.

By choosing a licensed waste carrier like Clear Cornwall, you are actively helping to combat fly-tipping and protect Cornwall's environment.

What We Do Differently

Every load we collect is taken to a licensed waste transfer station or recycling facility. We never dump waste illegally — not on roadsides, farmland, beaches or anywhere else. Every job is carried out in full compliance with Environment Agency regulations.

Recycling and Reuse

We sort every clearance load to maximise recycling and reuse. Usable items are donated to local charities and reuse networks. Metal, wood, cardboard and plastics are separated for recycling. Only what cannot be reused or recycled goes to landfill — and we work hard to minimise that.

Supporting Local Communities

We work with local charities, community groups and reuse organisations across Cornwall to ensure donated items benefit local people. When you book with Clear Cornwall, you are supporting a business that gives back to the community it serves.

Our Licence

Clear Cornwall holds a current Environment Agency waste carrier licence. We are fully insured and operate in full compliance with all relevant waste legislation.
